How Brint, Inc. Began
- Brint, Inc. was started by Tim and Susan Byrom in 1979. In 2018 their sons, Brian and Clint Byrom, took over ownership and operation of Brint, Inc. in order to begin building their own general contracting and land development business. -
Brint, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. We atr committed to the quality of our products and the success of the communities we serve. We have experience building custom homes on the Bolivar Peninsula, in Galveston, in Seabrook, as well as in the Greater Houston Area. We have also developed neighborhoods on the Bolivar Peninsula and in Bacliff, TX.
We are building on the legacy our father started when he built his first home built on Bolivar in 1985. It is located in the Sandpiper subdivision and, in spite of Hurricane Ike and other major tropical storms, still stands to this day. In fact, over 90% of the homes our family has built survived the devastation of Ike. Each of these homes are testaments to the construction practices we employ on a daily basis. These construction practices strive to incorporate the best products available on the market including James Hardie siding, Tech-shield roof decking, southern yellow pine lumber, engineered concrete slabs and stainless steel fasteners.
Dad was the first builder on the peninsula to utilize all galvanized nails in his framing and stainless steel nails on all exposed areas. Additionally, he was the first to insist on wrapping the entire frame structure in plywood for added rigidity. All of these concepts were his standard building practices since 1985 which have now become standard throughout the industry. Brint, Inc. utilizes these best practices as well as incorporating advancing technologies within the industry. Brint, Inc. strives to maintain the same high levels of quality Dad stood on with his construction business.
Brint, Inc. Today
The second generation of Byroms building on Bolivar has been unfolding since 2008. Brian and Clint Byrom, the company’s namesakes, have been working to continue the legacy their father created while expanding their business into new and emerging markets.
In 2012, Brint, Inc. expanded its operations to include custom home building in the South/South Eastern region of Houston and down the 45 South corridor. Brint, Inc continues to serve these communities today and has begun developing new neighborhoods in the area.
Brian Byrom, the “BR” in Brint, manages the daily operations and building projects of the company. Tim, the “I” in Brint, has retired from construction and wound down Brint Construction, Inc. at the end of 2022. Clint, the “NT”, manages the administrative and accounting functions of the family business.
